Status: Permanent Part Time – Term Time 0.4FTE, flexible hours
Position Location: Valley Campus
Line Management: This position will be responsible to the Director of Music and ultimately to the Chief Operating Officer
Duties
Instrumental Music Program and Co-Curricular Music Program
- Triage parent, tutor and community queries
- Create staff- and parent-facing communications relevant to the Instrumental Music Program and Co-Curricular Music Program
- Liaise with staff across the school to assist with Instrumental Music Program and Co-Curricular Music Program scheduling, excursions and events
- Maintain relevant school portal pages
- Assist the Director of Music with team management
- Create and communicate teaching schedules and room timetables
- Assist with tutor timesheets and student attendance records
- Assist with collating and processing data relevant to student enrolments and waitlists
- Assist with ordering and managing resources for the Music Department
- Support the Music Department in the creation of a welcoming environment for students, staff and other stakeholders
- Plan and execute the above duties as a member of a team, under the direction of the Director of Music

- Ability to work within various School information systems – Synergetic, Music Monitor, Consent2Go and Excel
- High order Information Technology and administration skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy levels
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong lateral thinking, flexible thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
Salary, Terms and conditions
The successful applicant will be employed under the Independent School ACT (Professional and Operational staff) Cooperative Multi Enterprise Agreement 2025. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience.
